UPR Debrief - Philippines
The Philippines recently went through its fourth cycle Universal Periodic Review (UPR) at the United Nations. The Advocates for Human Rights partnered with The Initiative for Dialogue and Empowerment through Alternative Legal Services (IDEALS), a Philippines-based organization that monitors and documents human rights violations in the country, to submit a report on the war on drugs in the Philippines. Hear from IDEALS and Advocates staff on what happened during the UPR of the Philippines and the recommendations made regarding human rights and drugs.
