Programs: Immigration Legal Services, Advocacy

Amy manages the Immigration Court Observation Project, a collaboration between The Advocates for Human Rights and the Binger Center for New Americans. After a career as a certified nurse-midwife, Amy turned her attention to politics, advocacy, and public policy. In her role as project manager Amy trains, mentors, and supports volunteers who attend deportation hearings in Minnesota to document human rights concerns and helps coordinate public education and advocacy efforts. Amy is also an enthusiastic potter.
